Do 2032 batteries leak when they go dead?
A friend wanted me to replace the battery in his car's clicker, The fob. He said it didn't work anymore. Car is 15 year old GM.
When I opened it up, everything looked wet like to was covered in an oil. It definitely wasn't water inside. The fob looks waterproof. How could oil get inside the FOB? Could the oil have came from the Li battery?
I'm asking because I've never seen anything like it.
