I have A 3010 Diesel. Ran fine until it didn't. Long story short I fixed and or replaced several thing,. Starter selonoid, cables, Injectors have be checked and test ok. The tractor will turn over but will not start. Checking the timing of the injector pump and it seems off. I read in my manual that I set it 10 degrees before TDC. When I line that up,. The injector pump line are now where close....I pulled the pump and rotated the shaft to line up,. Reinstalled. So it's is set 10- TDC,. Injector pump is lined up. I crank the starter,. It will not start. Re check the timing and it again is now we're close again. So I'm assuming I have a timing issue and that's the reason or a reason it will not pop. But why will the pump not stay tuned? Am I looking at a rebuild of the injection pump? Or am I missing something?
