Used tractor week ago on a finish mower,worked great. Went to mow again yesterday and the 2 stage clutch as I call it wouldnt engage the Power shaft without grinding, had to start tractor in gear to be able to use it. What would of caused this? Will admit it had to set out in a 3 in. rain What can I do to fix this ? Grass is growing fast than I can type. Would the plates have rusted together? The first stage that works the transmission worked fine for the shifting of gears Just coulndt get the PTO to engage,just ground the gears Any help would be great. Thanks

Probably pto clutch is stuck to pressure plate from moisture.
