460 engine oil

Been using straight 30 wt engine oil in my farmall 460
(gas) forever. Would it be advisable to start using
multi-vis 15w-40 in it? The 15w-40 is what I use in my
Deere diesels. I am in southern Illinois.

Yup. It don't matter where you live.

Use the diesel oil it has more zinc in it.

Use the same oil as you use in your other tractors.Keep it simple.No mixups that way.
