660 cockshutt

Not sure if I am posting this measage on the correct form, my friend tell me he has located a cockshutt 660. I have never heard of this model of tractor, is he correct?

I believe they did build a 660 and I think if you do some research you will find it is identical to an Oliver 660, they were painted red and cream (prairie gold). It is supposed to be pretty rare.

The post below is pretty accurate. There was another post about that before and if I remember correctly 10 660 tractors were built with the Cockshutt identification tag

Go to the Galleries section on the left of this site and click on "Tractor Photos".  Go the bottom of the page and enter "Cockshutt 660" in the search, you will find a photo of one.

I have a cockshutt 660 with cast center rear wheels,It was made in Charles City, Iowa and shipped to Branfort Machinery Division with their serial tag in Ontario, Canada. Ihave a pict on this site -Galliers- print my name in rectangular box on bottom of page an it will come up.
