Hi there everyone,
I recently started refurbushing a early 50's Ford 8N. The motor is frozen(and now full of PB blaster) , so I decided to remove the oil pan to take a looksee up in their and see what is going on. I got the pan knocked loose and managed to lower it about 3" when it got hung up on something near the flywheel, and it now refuses to come down any farther(I have removed all the bolts, as well as the oil drain plug). it easily wiggles back and forth, and is also easily jacked back up into it's orginal position. This is my first time working on something like this. I have all the manuels, and they say nothing about this to my knowledge. I have also searched the web with similar results. Has anyone else out their enountered this issue and resovled it? Thanks.
