Amazon, bad changes

Myself I am pretty happy with Amazon. When I have had problems purchasing from a third party seller through Amazon, it was the third party seller that was the problem. Purchasing directly from the third party did not improve their customer service.

Some people are just not happy unless they have something to gripe about. And, then they want you to agree with them and seem to become more upset when we don't. They are just too happy to jump on the hate bandwagon. That's what's wrong with America today. They're miserable and want everyone else to be miserable with them. :roll:

As I've said, I can't recall ever having a bad experience with Amazon, but I had to chuckle this afternoon.

I was looking for a battery for a Shindaewa/Echo cordless weed eater. When I found the one I wanted, I scrolled down the page a bit and under 'Items Usually Bought Together' it showed a jug of 2 cycle oil. For a cordless unit.

The small businesses near me deserve to go out of business. I buy nearly everything from Amazon - toothpaste, shampoo, shave cream, razors, vitamins and lots more. Why drive, walk, then carry stuff when I can simply gather it up off the porch for equal, if not less, money.

Isn't that the way of business? The companies that provide the best service and variety of products and pricing get the customers. The companies that satisfy the customers are the ones that stay in business. If any business can't do that, they go down. Simple isn't it?

I have no problems with Ebay either. When I started selling gun grips, I started on Ebay. After selling quite a lot, I created my own website and made a good living for over ten years selling gun grips.

Same hear, I just ordered some small stuff that would take a bunch of miles and time to buy locally. Was in a Wallmart today for groceries hoping to also
find a strobe lite for the bike but not close to what I wanted so added to the Amazon list tonight. For people who dont want to pay for Prime might check if
the kids don't have an account.

Have you tried Walmart. I needed a little patience to figure out their website as far as searching is concerned, Once I know what I want and how it is being supplied it goes pretty good..

My problem with the mom and pop shop, way back before the big box store, was the fact that the prices were high because the
shop didn't do enough business for suppliers to offer discounts. The other problem I had was that once you walk out the door with
your purchase, you are proud owner....no turning back. So, I too had problems with early US merchants.

Same here. Sometimes I order from Amazon because I know I can return the item if I don't like it. BTDT.

I buy from Amazon when I have to. I don't like their shady trick of trying to sneak you into their Prime accounts.......hoping once in
on your free month, you'll forget to cancel and avoid the surcharge. Takes me awhile to scan all over the different check out screens
to avoid tricks.

I've been using Amazon Prime for many years and am very happy with it. Some people are just looking for ghosts and goblins everywhere. To each his own...

I suppose that's the natural state of more people than people think now days. No one trusts anyone or anything any more. Everyone in the world is not out to screw you.
