Another RTU question

What is the proper color for the starter and the generator on a 1945 RTU? Both of mine are black, but it seems to me that maybe yellow was the correct color.

If came from factory with electrics would be PG. Rebuild ones were painted black.

molinegb is correct, Also The very first tractors that had dealer Kits installed to convert to electric, Kits coming from the MM factory were Black because the components came from DELCO

I think I will leave the starter and generator black. it’s nice to have a little different color on the tractor other than all Prairie gold.

Have about 40 starters and generators on shelf. All PG. Guys paint just to offset paint scheme.
