OK, Im marching right along with my MF 40B TLB rejuvenation. I haveM40 B tractor, MF 54A Back hoe and MF 34A Loader. Thanks to you guys, I got the correct fluid in her and found a few leaking cylinders. 2 on Loader , 2 on backhoe . Got those rebuilt and now shes doing everything that she is supposed to do
Next project is the loader bucket is loose at pins. On closer inspection, I have found the remnants of some bushings that are just worn though on one side or missing. My question is are these loader pins w "wear sleeves" original design or did previous owner install some pin bushings to keep this thing tight for awhile? Does anyone have a source for these bushings or suggestions on cutting down some stock to make these bushings? None of my other loaders have replaceable sleeves or bushings although it seems like a good idea.
Thanks!
