Anyone ever been banned from a pull for having two good hooks and winning by less than 10 feet, because the promoter "knew" you were cheating?

They have to prove it !

The problem is, the sled operator .

In the future if you go back there is NO chance of you out pulling anything. The weight will come on fast.

I know of a sled that it can be controled from the cab. not good.

It appears that perhaps the crime was wrong color. 95% of the tractors were JD 2cyl. including the organizer's. there were three 4 cyl. fords, one Farmall M, Three Olivers including a 99 and one small 6cyl Cockshutt. Even though it was a Farm Stock pull that I have been to before, there were only two other big tractors there this year so my six cyl. turbo Diesel kinda stuck out among all the put-puts.

i pull a stock m in modified class because of all the cheaters in farm class they nead to clean up the farm class don't cry about it if you were cheating because if ypu were you know you lost before you started
sincerly
bill klump
by the way real name not hidding anything

What tractor do you have? You said it had a turbo, was it an aftermarket turbo added to your tractor? just wondering.

so... how did this go down? did they record the results as a 1st place and give you the trophy and was told not to come back.

or did they say get out of here?

If they let a 6 cylinder diesel turbo pull against a bunch of antiques I'm curious if they let any V-8s pull in there with you?

I have a tired old Ford 9000 that I pulled out of the weeds at my cousins farm. Gave it a tire a battery, fluids and filters, and off to the pulls. I couldn't do anything with it the first two years but I got some problems sorted out and got some excess weight off, turned up the fuel pressure, and now it is competitive. Depending on where I go and who shows up I do OK. Nobody has any rule against taking weight off, and its a lot cheaper than putting engines in. Everything about the tractor is legal. The problem is that I, like the others with six cylinder turbo diesels are able to use momentum and the stock put puts can't. So When I went to collect my trophies I told them that I would like to leave my 8000lb trophy and say that I pulled that class just for fun. Then the organizer told me that he was going to speak to me later anyway and tell me not to bring my tractor back because he knows tractors and to be able to pull like I did I obviously had to be cheating. At most other pulls that I go to they enforce only the rules that they have. There is one other pull that they try to keep low key and I have known of guys that have been asked to not bring it back because it pulled too well, but these guys are the ones that beat everyone else by 50 ft.

730, I do believe that you are right but my tractor isn't a farmall and the year doesn't matter at a farm stock pull where there is no age restriction.

I didn't see anything like a 1468 and there were no 4440s or D-21s or 4620s, if there had been nobody would have noticed me.

lol, think it's the Port Huron outfit. No automatic sled, and dishonest sled operator. Was there at the 07 St. Clair Fair. No doubt the fix was in. But I wasnt surprised.

colin if your tractor is that poor can i buy it, i need some guaranted trophys. what year is that tractor can you document that thanks

Hi Rick Haven't got much in it, but a guarantee of trophies is worth a lot right? Bill of sale OK for year?

the places that i pull do not let certain tractors pull below certain weight classes. plus an age limit.

Maybe you just went to far with deweighting it?

I wonder if it would level the playing field if a john deere 4320 got to play with you in the 8000. (my area the dont call that farm stock, its called hot stock)

if you are pulling in the 8k, what suppose to pull in 9k,10k,11k, 12k? do you have classes that big?

Hey Collin -- make sure you go to the Deerfield Fair this year. You won't look out of place with all the hot-shots
