Brass fuel cap

I have a brass fuel cap on my CC Case, I know it is not original to this tractor asI found it on a shelf and put it on a long time ago, I'm wondering if it came from another Case product or someplace different, my grandfather had a model K (18-32) crosxsmotor at one time, and my dad had a model L gas tank mounted on a A-6 combine at one time, could these have been the source, or maybe some type of war time production?

I had one on an sc at one time. I cant say if it was original

That's a radiator cap. It's for a 400 and others.

Have a brass cap like that on the radiator of a 43 SC Case....bought it that way.

Not from a crossmotor, they are totally different

Thanks for the replies! My grandfather had two DC's that were LP powered,fairly late model one and one foot clutch one, did they change radiator fill ports on them? If so maybe that's the source, kind of funny the cap has a vent like a gas cap.

LP DC here...radiator cap is like any other DC.
