I bought a 2394 last year that seemed to be in very good condition for 9000 hours. The transmission had been completely rebuilt and the engine uses no oil. It has been overhauled once but I'm not sure when. I had my mechanic look it over and asked him to turn the pump up to 200hp which he said would be fine for the 2394 since it has the same engine as a 2594 which is rated at 180. I am looking for a second opinion if anyone thinks this is too high hp for this tractor. It pulls strong put when pulling hard the radiator (eng temp) bar gets just below the red line on a hot day. Could it be time for a radiator replacement or is the hp making it extra hot.
