This is my first Case as I have done mostly Farmalls up to this point. I am working on the clutch and have some questions about the wet clutch. This is a 1949 SC with a hand clutch. I see you can purchase a
new clutch disk which I plan to do as the one in there is worn. However, on the Farmalls I always bought a remanufactured pressure plate assembly and have the flywheel turned. I don't see those for sale
anywhere and mine seems to look OK. The face of both the flywheel and pressure plate are not grooved and look real nice. One of the three springs was laying in the bottom of the bell housing when I pulled
the engine, but it doesn't seem any different than the other two as I was able to put it back. I cleaned all the parts and they don't seem to have excessive wear. What should I be doing here other than
roughing up the wear surfaces and buying a new clutch disk?
