I attended the pull in Columbia this weekend I witnessed something that I found very disturbing,a tech offical was checking rpms, he grabbed the throttle and jerked it wide open not once, but 3 or 4 times very quickly it must have been over on rpms because he was DQed I found out later that engine rpms setteled immediately into the legal range It has been my experience that when you move the throttle that quickly that rpms tend to spike higher than they actually are why did the official DQ this tractor, when the rpms settled in? this man is one of the best ambassadors that the club could ever hope to have he is one of the most honest and forthright people in this club this tech official could use a good dose of common sense
