I was cleaning the carb for a cub I just picked up and have an issue with the idle tube. I used my handheld torch to heat up the carb body where the tube goes through and got it too hot. Idle tube came out pretty easy but after cleaning it it just slides all the way in too far. I also see there are no threads on the tube and figured they must have broken off in the body. Problem I'm seeing is that the tube doesn't seem to have a break where the threads would have been, the tube slides below the rim of the carb now and just doesn't seem like it should have been in there. The tube is 1 21/32" in length approximately. I feel like I may have damaged the bottom of the carburetor beyond repair but I want to know what some of the experts think. Grampa love if your still on here I'm hoping you might have some great insight for me
