Didn't really need it but...

...it was close by and I got a weakness for these. Can you have to many tractors? 1963 MF50 3 cyl Perkins with diff lock. The loader is a MF-38 and wasn't hooked up but I don't think it would take much to make it work. I have taken it off for now to make it easier to work on the tractor. Needs wiring and a couple seals (right axle and PTO) I have the base plate and chin for the front but will need to find the vertical center piece. Runs pretty good. Gave $1650 for it. The only problem now is I already have another MF50 torn apart in the garage, so this one will have to wait its turn.

$1650? Is there a picture of you hanging on the bulletin board of the post office? You flippin' STOLE that tractor. A decent MF50 diesel w/o a loader might bring $3500 to $4000 here in the spring or summer months. Tack on $300 or $400 for the loader when it's working.

I didn't think the price was to bad :) That was the asking price on craigslist and seeing as I bought it less than 24 hours after it was posted I didn't figure I could dicker much. I think If I hadn't seen the add until a day later it would have been gone. This will be my first diesel in the 'fleet'.
