Is the pertronix electric ignition make a big enough difference to justify the cost. thanks
alot better systems out there for the same money.(quoted from post at 14:47:48 06/12/11) Is the pertronix electric ignition make a big enough difference to justify the cost. thanks
 any ignition system that can handle a low resistances performance coil without the use of a resistor is better.(quoted from post at 17:32:19 06/12/11) Are you sure spanky? can you tell us what one is the best? wouldnt it be different for every application? do you run a resistor or not?
abox pro coil is my prefernce andrea what i ran.coil cost what a petronix assembly runs. Ran a 16 volt battery as well. Mel saw it at his visit.(quoted from post at 17:32:19 06/12/11) Are you sure spanky? can you tell us what one is the best? wouldnt it be different for every application? do you run a resistor or not?

i have been looking at the midget series engines for a while even posted pictures on here of a few . Before iwent to the crank triggered ignition iwould have the dry sump oil system and the fuel injection system causeq i don't have a two barrel and a rigged up wet sump oil pump.(quoted from post at 04:45:41 06/14/11)
it would be interesting to fire a tractor engine from a crank trigger(CPS) and a coil pack/computer like the modern cars, no moving parts.
probably would take a fortune, but I had a 95 ford ranger 4 banger with a efi fuel injection. powerful little motor. it would be interesting to retrofit the modern technology to these old tractor engines, just to see if there was any significant increase on the dyno.

Inquiring minds want to know . You mean he goes to his first pull in ten years and crys about another tractor. Do tell(quoted from post at 19:32:34 06/15/11) I wouldn't worry about purchasing the electronic ignition. If you keep on protesting tractors in your class like you did at Lamonte, then there will not be any tractors in your class and you could win anyway! Heck, if you want to protest, then make sure you get the obvious-the most important one-there is an 88 Oliver running with a 310 Waukishaw in it, and that is not the stock block-hence forth the tractor will be illegal in the Brush Pullers of Missouri pulls according to their rules.

I see you found it when it was pointed out to you twice. You really should read more thoroughly(quoted from post at 19:56:01 06/18/11)(quoted from post at 03:32:34 06/16/11) I wouldn't worry about purchasing the electronic ignition. just for you spankster, I don't know where Lamont is but it's no where near here. I'm a long way from Missouri.
I know this is short and straight to the point makes it hard for long winded posters but the clue is NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT>(quoted from post at 20:01:22 06/18/11) 1puller1winner was asking Tempola the question............ must have been some protesting going on in Lamonte and Tempola was asking about purchasing an electronic ignition unit.........
Get a clue Pankey
No lie made up . The guy doesnot name the individual and it was posted after your post so who is to say it was about tempola or you unless the poster coments.(quoted from post at 20:57:28 06/18/11) so you fella's don't get confused.
In another thread, Pankey was makeing up things about me again, so I had to tell him to please go read this thread, try and comprehend what was in it and that he had it all wrong...... again.
Trying to tell me that I protested some tractor, in a place called Lamonte. (but I'm certain Lamonte is in a state several states from here)But I'd never do that, have any of you seen all the "illegal" parts on mine? They are legal here, we don't have much for rules, and there is no protesting when there is no rules. It's pretty simple and we all have a good time.
Sorry for the wasted bandwidth. But I really don't need anyone makeing up any lies about me, so I just point out where to look for the truth.
yes it is . Whats the difference in you posting it the way you hear it and me posting the way I read it? grow up you do need to in years and cubic inches.(quoted from post at 21:16:07 06/18/11) The lie you made up is in your thread, mythbusterwi50" in which you tell me that I protested some tractor some place. (which I did not do)
Let me point out that part about "like you did in Lamonte" that is in the post from 1puller1winner when he is refering to the protesting takeing place at a pull in that town.
I'm sorry, but there is no Lamonte town around here...... I've never pulled in Lamonte, been to Lamonte or heard of the place. I do beleve it's several states away. There was also mention of "bursh pullers of Missouri". Again, several hundred miles from me.
you just got proven wrong again, if you'd quit trying to make up things about me, you may not look so bad on public forum.
Pankey, this crap is getting old. You really need to grow up.
