electric lift toggle switch

Is there an after market switch that can be used on a 112 JD? Or do I have to go to a dealer to find one? Thanks for any help George

The dealer will be able to order one that will work without any fuss. If you time is worth anything, you probably can't afford to look for a substitute.

On the other hand, most switches John Deere sold will still have the actual manufacturer's product numbers on them. You could take the old one to an electrical supply company or maybe even Radio Shack and find a match.

As steve said,if you want a quick/easy fix goto local jd dealer & spend $19-$20 for an oem sw(probably pn am33847)if time not a factor goto radio shack & get sw cat#275-709,this sw should work BUT you will have to change terminals on wires & fool around getting wires on same correctly to operate relays for lift motor.

If you are not concerned about original equipment you can go to Radio Shack and get Switch Part #275-709. I put one on my Case and it works just fine.
