How did the gov't. make JD spend the money on that?BINGO!
Price will not mean anything if the all electric group get what theywant and that is NO Mining for any minerals to make the battries. and nothing to make the wind turbins with or splar pannels. You will have to have all that and will not be allowed to get it out of the ground. Everything for that will be comming from China or Rushia, not north America. If what you need to make things becomes unavaible price will not matter and it will be the end of the world as we know it because people will not be able to live any more as there will be no more food able to be grown. None of us may be alive to see it but that will be the end result.Remember, one of the reasons cars replaced horses was because Henry offered the Model T cheaper than a good driving team of horsed! Price point runs a new market!
You mean it wasn't rammed down our throats on the backs of taxpayers by the global climate cultists? For shame.Remember, one of the reasons cars replaced horses was because Henry offered the Model T cheaper than a good driving team of horsed! Price point runs a new market!
Batteries 20 years ago weren't good enough. They have become better. I can't see any other way forward, too many people are against fossil fuel burning equipment. It might not really be feasible until the next good advancement in battery storage capability. At that point cars, trucks, buses, transport, tractors and possibly even ocean shipping will all be electric. Fossil fuel burning machinery will be more antiquated than the horse and buggy is to us now.
As someone involved with power generation, and working all over the world, I just call it as ai see it. Just a POV/opinion formed from experience like anyone elses POV or opinionsYou mean it wasn't rammed down our throats on the backs of taxpayers by the global climate cultists? For shame.
*pausing for the obligatory "backwards thinking" eye roll from GChief... I kid I kid
See, no worries where all the electricity we will need will come from, ....we sell our coal & natural gas to China & Russia and they sell us the electricity and keep all the 'nasty' pollution inside their borders. Understand The enviro-cultist sure do.This country is pushing electric vehicles and clean energy while China And India are pumping more into the environment than ever before, and laughing at us for buying the cheap junk they make. What a fiasco
Maybe, maybe not. Why would there be this shift to get away from burning fossil fuels? Some conspiracy theory?', too many people are against fossil fuel burning". you watch too much of wrong channels
In the utility 40 hp class selectrac started general market sales this year of a compact electric tractor.
They sold 75 units in first 6 months of production this year . A farmer on ewe tube demo one, he has loader and
takes two 900 -1000 lb hay bales every morning out to the cow pasture with this tractor. One bale per trip.
He says no worries about starting a combustion engine on cold morning ,no dead battery. no fuel gelling..no purchase diesel
fuel . Reliable work horse. Says the battery drops 1 % after morning chores finished .
Are these going to take over th3 40 horse utility tractor market. Did we see the start of the switch to the compact electric tractor in 2023 ?
Probably the same way the $8 billion is getting to the new North Americn battery plant.....take it from working tax payers and give it to govt preferred companies/organizations.How did the gov't. make JD spend the money on that?
the equine is gonna make a comeback ---bio-mechnical electrical photonic-array equinotics-- they absorb nearby guilt and shame --the infinite energy source...Funny thing is,
The ad already did its job.
It showed that the tractor can move two round bales out to some cattle and leaves the discussion at that.
When, to me, as someone who feeds a similar amount of hay in a day, to a similar amount of cattle... does it make sense to do that, regardless of the tractor type??
Sometimes, corporations like to get people yelling "Tastes Great!".... "Less Filling!" at each other... while they sell us cheap, light beer.
To me, the solution is to try to obviate the need for the tractor or car as much as possible.
Then it really doesn't matter what kind it is...
Well... where I do much of my work on the farm, they would at least need some different footwear...the equine is gonna make a comeback ---bio-mechnical electrical photonic-array equinotics-- they absorb nearby guilt and shame --the infinite energy source...

"Fordism" was a thing.Remember, one of the reasons cars replaced horses was because Henry offered the Model T cheaper than a good driving team of horsed! Price point runs a new market!

I love hearing the alternative opinions, that's one of the reasons I am mostly in the off topic sub forums on sites I frequent.
How did the gov't. make JD spend the money on that?
Now, now... The whole area between Binghamton, Rome and Syracuse, NY is depending on gubm't funds to fund their research into various nebulous descriptions of battery storage systems...Probably the same way the $8 billion is getting to the new North Americn battery plant.....take it from working tax payers and give it to govt preferred companies/organizations.
What? How did the gov't. make JD spend the money on that?
