fan shaft leak

49 model b tractor, excessive oil leaking from end of fan shaft. what is happening & how to repair. thanks
 
Probably a problem with the ventilator pump located in the fanshaft assembly next to the gov. you will need to remove and disassemble the shaft to get to the pump. Depending on ser#, either a broken spring of bad roller assembly.
