The tractor has the extended industrial style
filter housing with an industrial filter. Fluid
level is well above full. It isn't a freezing
issue as it was doing it before the cold weather
set in. The problem I'm having is the hydraulics
scream when first started and get slightly better
when it warms up. The loader will lift plenty of
weight. The hydraulics work better/faster at an
idle than they do above 1200 RPM or so. Above
that they pulse and scream like they are starving
for oil. After an hour or two of hard use the
hydraulic filter cover is only 70F or so if the
weather is 20F-30F outside so nothing is getting
too hot by any means either. I forget the name of
the thing that has the screen and check valve in
it but the screen has been removed. The tractor
has sat for a couple of years since I did that
though. Any ideas for me?
