Farmall 9 bolt hubs

What kind of 9 bolt hubs will fit a 450 farmall and take the abuse of pulling up to 8000lb? Is M&W the only type or is there something else?

I am looking to buy. Tell me what you have.

I have read that Massey 44, and Oliver 88 hubs will both fit, but are bad for breaking. Will either of them work with a custom machined key and no grinding of the hub? Does anybody make aftermarket clamp on hubs? 2 3/4 axle. Farmall tapered key.

My dad has broken more than one 44 hub already. We are going to weld-ons soon, I would recommend you do the same. If you prefer M+W hubs, we have some that would fit your tractor ($250). 419-204-0846.

IH 656 hubs are what you need if you want bolt on hubs this was info that was past on by the "old pullers"

now to find a set is an issue they are out there but you will pay then you wont have issues if you put them on and make sure that they are tight tight! I check mine when I go from dirt to blacktop tires (twice a year) never had a problem

I have a set of factory hubs off a 666. They hold up very well never broke a set. They will handle all the power you can make in a 450.
