fluid in tires

Is there any way that I can put fluid in the tires myself instead of taking the tire somewhere

Yep I do it off and on all the time. Drop me an e-mail and I'll send you a page from a 1935 owners manual that tells you how to do it and one of the ways you can do in your sleep even after you have it set up that is

This tool and a drill pump and you are all set. Purchase some windshield washer fluid on sale and dilute according to your winter weather.
Don't fill higher than the valve stem with the rim turned to the 12 o'clock position.

Thank you sir. Which method do you use? I like the look fo the hand pump but I don't know where to get one that pumps fluid.

Most of the time I use the barrel set up. That way I can just set it up and walk away from it. I have also used a drill pump to pump it in but that is slow and you have to sit there with it. I'm lucky I own a tractor with a loader so I can lift a barrel up easy. I also use wind shield wiper fluid in my tires now days since I hate to use CACL because if the rust problem.

Old, my grandpa put fluid in all his tires like that. He had a bucket hanging in the barn and he would fill it up from time to time and do something else.

To avoid needing a pump you can also rig up an enclosed barrel to add a little air pressure (whatever the barrel will stand) to push the fluid into the tire.

The $13 one is faster but wont work for garden tractor tires It works a lot faster for tractor
tires.

This page from this 1935 JD-B owners manual shows a few ways to put fluid in. Whats funny is I have that tractor and the manual is the one that came with it when new, the funny part is that its on steel wheels and has been since it was new, sort of hard to add fluid to them LOL

I did one last winter for the first time, 5gal bucket with garden hose coming out of the bottom, valve from Gemplers , pump on end of drill, and window washer fluid, If I can do it anybody can.
