Ford 4000. Oil sending unit

I have a 65 ford 4000 tractor and my oil lite is on.
I was wondering if I could swap out the oil sensor and put in a oil pressure gauge so will know how much pressure I have, and that my oil pump is working properly. I m guessing that I can use the same port for the installation?
How much pressure should it show if this is a possible swap out solution?

Yes, you can use that port, or put a 1/4 NPT tee in it and use both. Good pressure is anything above 35-40 PSI hot at working
speeds, or 10 PSI hot idle.

Okay; thank you for your response.
