Out chopping stalks with M670 Super and IH chopper. I never thought it would dry up again this fall...

I proudly dragged 25,000 of beans to the mill the other day with my 900 Diesel. It's pure pleasure listening to her bark on the way up hills, sheer terror going down them. My first 2 wagons went behind my 706 International, totally inadequate power for the up hills but very effective brakes for the downhills. The MM900D is just the opposite.

Thats how most later MM's were

The earlier ones R Z U had good brakes but the later ones Jet 3 302 and 670 were hard to keep brakes under.

I love driving it. Ive always liked the 1966 model color scheme. Trying to figure out fuel usage as it is a gas, but havent had time to. I usually run it between 1100 and 1200 rpm. It is a little cool without a cab so I hope I can get mine on for next year. I remember bringing beans into town with my restored ZA. Makes ya feel special...

Hoping that my Oliver G1355 will be hauling wagons to our local elevator next week. I am going to put the finishing touches on it today. Be patient but pics are coming

Looking good Alan, but you wouldnt be doing that around here yet. First little or no corn off yet and second you would need duals just to keep afloat. It has been nice the past few weeks, just too much water and mud to dry up. 670 is looking good, looks like its earning its keep just fine.

(wish I had my cab on, hopefully next year...) I think alot of the corn here is about 25-33 percent yet. I hear ya on the water. Luckily some dried up, but some water is still here and there. At least we can get at some of it. I hope it dries enough where you are so you can get at it. It has been a bad year for weather.

You guys are lucky to find the time to use your MM's. We are so busy trying to get the crop off I don't find the time to play with my MMs.

Well, we actually use our MMs and Olivers as our tractors that we farm with on our farm. So yes they are fun to play with, but we are also getting the farming done with them. Ours are no trailer queens.

I guess we dont make enough money on our farm to have big MX CIH tractors or big new JDs with cabs and radios to farm with, but I would like to try it sometime

Wish I had more time to tinker with it. I get an hour some mornings, then over to my cousins until 8pm baling cornstalks, running 4wd and digger, plowing then come home, grab a bite to eat and then go out and chop after dark for an hour or two. Been some cold evenings with the wind. (I need my cab)There arent enough hours in the day sometimes. Not been a good year for farming...

Tell me bout it!!!! We got more rain down here to day and a friend and I are suppost to move hay for hay for a lady tomorrow after school. Maybe not. Who knows. Looks like the M670 gaser is having fun.

Hey Triple L Paints; do you know where I could get a set of decent O.S. piston for my 585? It's at std now but worn to the point of a rebore. .020 would probably be perfect but +10 would do as well as bigger. Thanks
Bruce
