ou are already getting a discount. That is why you are at Wal-Mart instead of Kroger, Tom Thumb, Whole Foods, etc.(quoted from post at 16:49:01 10/18/22) I work in a grocery store with 8 self
checks. It's good for both customers and
employees.
Customers like it cause they can get in
and out faster with small orders as they
aren't stuck behind big orders. Plus our
cashiers are slow as molasses. Employees
like it because we aren't constantly be
bitched at customers about long lines. The
employees aren't the ones that can't hire
folks, it's the upper levels and they
aren't the ones catching the flak. But I
do agree there should be a 5% discount for
self service.
(quoted from post at 14:58:21 10/18/22) I absolutely refuse to use those things. Ill leave a full buggy sitting there and walk out before I give a company as rich as Walmart free labor by ringing up my purchases. If they would give something like a 10% discount I would consider it. But Im not doing it for free.
(quoted from post at 22:16:32 10/18/22) I do not go to wall mart
