Hi
I've just recently acquired an International 434, which is a big improvement over the Yanmar I had previously.
A previous owner has replaced the ignition switch, which doesn't support the glow plug circuit.
I obviously need to fix this, and am thinking of installing a momentary switch, however the wiring puzzles me. I was assuming that current would run through the indicator resister, then through each glow plug, to earth, however the circuit diagram shows connections from the switch (item 89 in the attached JPG) to both sides of the indicator resistor (item 85)? I've posted a screen shot of the relevant part of the electrical circuit.
Can anyone clarify how the glow plug circuit should be wired up?
Bob
