We just re-built a 40 with a little extra for pulling. I need a new carburetor but I need one that will handle approximately 35 horsepower. Do I need to stick with the TSX530 or go with a new zenith? Or is there another updraft carb that would work better? Thanks in advance.

Yours should have an adjustable main jet and you should be able to get enough to over fuel it ?

Or if you don't have one at all ? get one for a 440 crawler. Get the starter too, but check that it is the 4 pole type.

Thanks for the reply. The carb I have is shot so I need a new one. I thought that the carb for the 440 had a different bolt pattern?

Well now you got me to wondering ? I guess I can't say for absolute sure they are they same pattern ? I kinda thought they were similar size only because there only really seems to be two rebuild kits needed, one for the smaller carb. on the L and LA models and one for all the others.
I guess a tape measure will be needed when searching.
