I hate Kwik Trip

Does anyone else hate Kwik Trips destroying good conventional gas stations with resturants? They're like aliens and the food is sh*t and I hate the atmosphere and music. They keep going up everywhere buying up and taking away the good gas stations that have edible food.
They did it in my town. Moved in and the small gas station that had a mom n pop restaurant in it closed up. It's sad, kt can have gas for 3 cence more per gallon and people will still go their. It seams like they need to be on every corner in every town now. I will give it to them most of them are clean food I ok

I can't recall the last time I even passed a gas station with an eatery, let alone a quality eatery. I get out of state quite a bit, but these places actually still exist outside truck stops? Am I just not paying attention?

Kwik Trip is not a sit-down restaurant per se. They may have a table or two where you can sit, but mostly it's food to take home and eat. Basically a convenience store that has take home food. We've had some items from there and enjoyed them very much.

We've had a rash of gas stations pop up over the past few years with separate fried chicken counters (sandwiches, pieces, jojos, etc.) but that's all I can recall as of late. However, I don't remember seeing any tables. I generally stay away from gas station food, but I had one of the honey chicken sandwiches and I must say it was fairly decent.

I also made a mess on a recent trip through Texas when I stopped at the Bucee's in Amarillo. As a first timer, I had to get one of the oversized BBQ beef (brisket?) sandwiches and I must say it was good- messy, but good.

We have one local restaurant station left. The rest were gone long before k star appeared here. The lunch restaurants in the small towns even with the factory were gone 5 years before. It’s my opinion they are filling a gap that left a long time ago. The bar still thrives and sells good food. They certainly have the fresh dairy products figured out hit or miss on some other things.

A&E is still better imo but that’s getting harder to find. There’s a reason it’s 2 dollars more per gallon. And the cottage cheese a buck more. Worth it.
