Identify old John Deere Bush Hog model

I am trying to identify this old John Deere rotary cutter. It is a 6ft cutter.

The best I can tell, the serial number is:
MF0307000001W

Anybody know how I can figure it out or have any idea of what it is?

TI agree model 307 but the 3pt hitch lower & upper pin attachments have been modified.

Don't get excited and start telling people you have the first one off the assembly line! On simple machines like that, Deere didn't bother with consecutive serial numbers. Think of it more like a series number. If you need parts, just give the model number- 307.

I'm definitely not excited about this one! . It is in pretty rough shape, but it does work. Just bought it for a low price so I would have a 6 footer to mow some fields. All I had before was a 4 foot. Thanks for helping me identify the model though!
