I like and have joy stick control on other loaders
I’m glade this one didn’t have it as I’ve since removed the loader and won’t be putting it back on this tractor, it’ll go on one of the open station tractors that will get a loader mounted valve

So when you start these things with the manifold heater do you use ether? Disable the manifold heater when using ether? Don't use ether?

I prefer no ether whenever possible.

The heater only works if you turn the key the opposite direction. Turn key normally and give it a shot If needed.

Never spray ether in when using the thermostart heater, good way to explode the manifold off the side of the engine

Ford stopped using the reverse key position for the thermostart before the 10 series was introduced

Never see a Ford with a working thermostart (and I've owned and worked on plenty) but just assumed they were all the same. Good to know.

I have 10 with thermostart, some work, some don’t
Thermostart is halfway between key on and start, it would have been better to just have a push button
