Hi folks I have a 2002 John Deere lawn tractor that I am have an issue with the rear tires leaking through the side walls, I am sure it's the age of the tires, they have great tread, not cracked as bad as I don't believe it would pitch the tube and I am reluctant to change them when I can just put tubes in him and cure this issue.
My concern is where the valve stem exits the rim, our local tractor supply just sells straight stem inner tubes, as in the photo you can see the valve stem exits side of the rim. Not sure if the run-of-the-mill inner tubes will work in this application
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Drill a new hole on the hidden/back side to accommodate the tube.

There's valve stem plugs available for the old/unused hole.

Try the tire sealants? One of the YouTube guys I follow has even suggested motor oil will seal the small holes and stop such leakage.

Oh I bet the tire man would live that !! I?m about passed caring
though since they can?t seem to be able to fix the tire
