My BIL is looking at a 730 ad that doesn t say it s gas or diesel. Could it be either one?

Yes, it also could be an all-fuel or LPG. Odds are it is a diesel as they made more diesels than all other put together by far.

Now for the next question. If diesel would it be pony start or direct electric?
