Some of you guys need to take a pill. Yesterday 1-3-12 was the first shipping day of the new year. So, if he told you after the new year I think you should sit patiently this week and let the brown truck come. By the way the last 3 weeks have been the busiest for the brown truck guys, so add a few days on for them. As of roughly 12-15 they stopped guaranteeing ground delivery dates. Good luck with your endeavor.
