How do I get this apart and back together?

It needs new spacers....

Heat can be your friend - not just a propane unit.

Those two dowel pins were originally a force fit in one side and a slip fit in the other. A little patience will help you figure out which side slips.

Very good thanks, I just didn t want to take heat to them if there were a simpler solution!

I m really enjoying fiddling with this old tractor! Great fun!

But I readily admit I have no clue most of the time.... so thank you for the tips.
