(quoted from post at 22:18:40 06/22/08) Hey Fellows I have a bad radiator leak.Either the tank has broken at the top or a stick went in.I must remove it.Can someone give me the stept by stept directions for removing the hood so I can get to everything.I put the radiator on back about 10 years ago but had no grill then and it was still rough. Thank for any tips that might save the knuckles and bruised arms...R.M. In AL
All I kin say about the hood removal is,,, i like to remove the steering wheel,,, no it does not have to come off,,, I usual can remove and install the hood by my self,,, with the SW on you take a chance of fudge'n up the radiator neck,,, I have a HO-Made wheel puller that werks rite well,,, my self i would never use a 3 jaw puller,,, my luck taint that good
My HO-Made puller is made from a old SW,,, cut the outer ring off and bend hooks in the spokes,,, add a pusher bolt and nut and it will retrieve a stuck wheel,,, Mite have a pix some were will look.
