Hello, May I ask has anybody ever tried pulling with a 44-6. I know of one that has a chrysler 265 flat head in it . The tractor has a good bit of power Thank you.

The Chrysler industrial engines were common in early 101, later they used the Continental F226 or F244. MH 44-6 came with the Continental F226 from factory, they never came with the Chrysler six, although it could be made to fit.

Hmm, Maybe this is not a chrysler motor in the tractor . I will look into this thank you for the insight.

Should make a good stock puller. We tried
to make a 265 into 400 cu . Started
putting 3 11/16 sleeves from a 282 IHC. To
hard for us. But think 6" stroke is
possible.

Thank you to all who replied,I have found out that the 4 cylinder engine is far better in Div.2 so that is going to be my next plan, If any of you fellers know about the 4 cylinder engines please let me know Thank you..

I was running a 101 with the F226 continental for a while in stock classes. Did decent until it decided to only run on 4 cylinders half the time. Haven?t
convinced myself to dump the money into it to fix.

I have a 226,bored to 244..isky cam..willys manifolds..lots of engine work on ports,heads..make a great deal to someone

If you can find one a 413 Chrysler flathead will fit in a 44. Have to use electric fan in front of radiator though. Stock rpm about 95 hp on the pto
