Good Morning everyone.
I think its time to tune up my MF 20. It starts right up, but it isnt running smooth at idle (seems to clear up under load). I dont want to start fiddling with the carb just yet until I am sure the plugs/wires/rotor are in good shape.
However, when I go to order a kit, it looks like there are a few different plugs that can go in my Perkins engine. Its telling me to look at the engine serial, but Im not sure which set of numbers to look at. Can someone point me in the right direction? I dont want to just pull the existing plugs to check, since Im not sure that the previous owner would have used the correct ones.
And, for when I get there, any tips on pulling the plugs out with a loader on this tractor? It looks like it might be a bit of a pain to get in there to remove them...
