milwaukee tools

any one use the new milwaukee m 12 tools how to they hold up to a 18 volt type tool i have many dewalt 18 volt tools just wondering about these milwaukee tools

I have several of the M12 tools and some 18V. Last fall I put up a tin ceiling in the shop. I used the M impact driver to put in the screws while the other guy used an 18V tool. It seemed that we both needed recharging at about the same time. His was a little faster but lifting that heavier tool up to the ceiling was more work, the lighter M12 was much easier to use.

i dont have the millwaukee i have a bosch 12v and i love it as an electrician it has a two speed gearing an in low i can run a 3/4 spade bit and easily run in a 3" torx screw runs for hundreds of screws constant use about 3/4-1 hr only half hour to charge and it fits in a hammer belt loop as an electrician i dont use the 18v stuff till you need to do the heavy duty tasks

No milwaukee cordless tools. I have a 20+ year old milwaukee 120v right angle drill. Never had first problem with the exception it wants to break my wrist with the torque it has.

I'm a fan of 18v dewalts. Have about every dewalt tool made. Oldest is about 15 years old. Never had a problem with any of them. Love my tools even better after I found after market NiMH batteries on ebay. Way better than Dewalt li-ion batteries. I'll never buy another XRP. Can't live without my 1/4 and 1/2 inch impacts.

I was told that the Milwakee is name only. Could only guess where they are made. My guess is dewalts are made in the same place too.
