Lots of talk in the village to adopt new rules.

I thought the current rules were locked in till 2011?

If new rules were somehow gotten voted in before 2011,,, what happens to the current farm stock tractors that are set up for the current specs?

Will the club offer a class for them?

For those who do not wanna change their hitches or engines and still come to NCIATPA events.

Do you open up the "local class rules"?

How about a one class shootout? That puts em all in one class percentage scored.( we have done this in the past,,) Our own little King of the Hill type class. 0-6500# farm stock shootout.

Two hooks, best of two count, tally the total of the two scores to create the top score winner.

For the new changes,

My understanding is,

That to Adopt USAP Super Farm Stock rules, have been mentioned alot, to replace our current farm stocker rules.

I see no problem with that, providing the current class members are not turned out in the cold.

Years back, we had a simpler weight class, more of the groups of tractors were put in the same class.

You would see 25 to 50 hooks in one class all the time.

To sweeten the deal, offer up a Jackpot at the Fairs to bring em in as an attraction.

If you won first place or in the top five, paybacks would be higher! Pullers would strive a little harder to win that money.

Bragging rights of that would be winning a class against 20 or more tractors!

One or more rules I recommend for this class is, no strokers. Stock blocks,

More hitch provisions that can help pullers make adjustments quickly and gain some added strength for safety.

Weights in the stock location. No suitcase weights.

Low gear only, 2.75 mph.

Any possiblity of a test study of past ideas that can help, or a trial period to see how pullers would respond?

I know how most respond,,, How long is this class gonna take? Gonna be here forever,,,,,,

Ya all dont have to listen, ya all dont have to read it. Just some ideas I was thinking of to do to gain more tractors, and not turn away what has been a strong division. Create some bragging rights, and support more stock pulling and modified pulling as well.

We all dont have Modifieds, we all dont have farm stocks. This past year has shown that there are alot out there who need some suggestions.

I was told that the 2011 season, the rules were able to be unlocked,,,, Maybe I am misinformed on that,,,, HAHA!!

Current board did a good job. Ya all worked hard.

I didnt go to all of em either. Sometimes, other things gotta be done first. Im getting caught up on work. A fella named Paul has been working his butt off giving me a hand in the shop. Put a die grinder in his hand, and he aint stopped yet.

Tractor number 45.

i like what you said chad s look like you are looking for us oldtimers i joined this club this summer because it is well run i still think we need to keep the farm stock going like you go to the field and plow with thanks just my 2 cennts worth happy thank giving day to all of you

3 classes was it.

1900-1939
1940-1947
1948-1956

Percentage scored.

Weighed what ever you wanted, 3 beeps of the horn, 20 inch high drawbar. 10% rpm with 15.5X 38 or stock rim diameter. Low gear only. We used to be 3.5 mph, but we seemed to take advantage of the 3 horn rule. I think at 2.75mph, a 3 horn rule would work well.

(quoted from post at 13:35:15 11/15/09) ACS with 38 in tires will really not like your 2.75 speed limit.

Then tell them to put the 26's that it came with back on it. The whole idea with the slow MPH is to keep the HP equalized.

1st gear rules are silly too. For the reason you just mentioned. MPH will get them all.

Chad can you name 5 totally stock tractors that pull in the farm stock. I have went to every pull except two of them in the last two years. We Need to adapt USAP rules or NATPA rules. If the club goes with NATPA rules most of the tractors cant meet the rules to pull. I Think USAP rules would be good for the NCIATPA Club and it would invite some good tractors to come and pull. Chad Bring that Farmall of yours over to the Ohio Pull over Thanksgiving weekend. You will know what you have when you leave there.

Chad bring your farmall to the Wauseon pull in Ohio. I have seen your farmall and it runs good. Bring it to Ohio and see what it will do. There are some really good tractors that pull in the lighter classes there. If you place in any of the classes you will have done a good job.

I got the tires n rims back on it.

15 year old Firestone 15.5X38's F&R F-151's, 5/8 lug, on a 16 inch rim. Fresh edges.

Those tires,,
helped win 4 years in a row, 2 classes per year at Princeton USAP, Won 5 NCIATPA points championships with dull edges.

Turned down 1500 cash in hand! I still have them.

The tractor, I put them tires back onto.

10 years ago next week, We participated in the FIRST EVER,,, USAP pull in Hartford Kentucky, and WON.

We all took 6 tractors, 18 people, 2 dogs, and convoyed to Hartford Kentucky for some Thanksgiving Pulling.
USAP Style!

We was in the HOOK!

We could be ready to go For Next weekend's play. Tractor could be ready. Its just as mean as it was 10 years ago. Maybe a bit more.

With the 99 season, and the 09 season being close to heart,,,,,,,,,
10 years,,,,,,

25 has turned 35. Still got the tractor that did all that way back when,,,,

We can still make it dance.

Alot of last minute BS to do to be ready.

My Head and Heart is already there, Im an empty shell,, walkin bout on auto pilot,,,,, HAHAHA!! With a sign, says,, gone pullin" hanging off my Baseball cap. LMAO!

My hearts desire would be to go there next week, See if Ol Something Wilder and the new vision,, Dad and I had for it,, could still win! Just being there would be great enough.

To go there, enter 3500, 4000, 4500 Mod stock, then run the King of the Hill. Would be an accomplishemnt. To win, it would be Historical.

Ohio ya say? If I could even GO,,,, I told ya all from the start, USAP all the way!!

Dont see it comming together. Im sure the spirit is there, it would take alot of persuasion and some late nights,,,,,, Would be one heck of a story though,,,,,,,,, ChadS

Happy Thanksgiving to you too PUNK!

We should meet!

Im sure we can find one thing to talk about.

Like,,,,, My foot in your AZZZ!!! ChadS

Bring it on. Just like pulling, you are all talk and no action.
Face it, your a high school drop out that has never done anything of value. You should do the world a favor and suck on a 12 gage.
