oil leaking from rock shaft

1951 B has oil leaking from the left rock shaft. I first noticed it a few years ago when I was plowing. Did not understand why the high side (when plowing)rock shaft would leak and not the low side. I have not plowed for a long time but have the No 5 mower on it and it is really leaking. I am using a remote cylinder on the plow and the mower, would this have something to do with the leak. I have never tried to use the rock shaft. Don't know if it is transmission or hydraulic oil.
Any ideas??

check the oil level at the pet cock on the right side of the power trol box it must be over full
