Propane tank fill valve gasket

My son is trying to fill a horizontal 25 gallon propane tank. They started the fill and found a leak at the gasket between the tank and fill neck. A Web search didn't reveal anything; what is this gasket called and where might we find one?

I may be wrong. But I am thinking they use an O Ring.

If the tank is empty. Can't you remove the filler valve body and see if it has an O ring or a gasket? Being 1 3/4" may make it hard to find for most of those type Acme fittings are 1 1/2" nowadays. And they are not cheap. Average cost is around $250.

I got the rubber gasket for my tank fuel gauge at the LP gas supplier.

I would start at a propane supplier. Not something that you would want to fail later.
