Hi Tom
My Bristol is in a very early stage of restoration
still soaking it in plus gas
My problem is the exhaust manifold its completly
rusted through and without this, getting the
engine going which is my first job is a right pain
one of the brake cables from the hand levers is
broken so thats another search to get a new one or
have it repaired. As to the tracks I have not even
looked to closely at them, however the adjusters
still have a little way to go
I do have an operators book and a parts book with
detailed drawings only this book dated 1949 covers
the Austin 16 engine and not the A 70 that is in
mine
I would be intrested in how you are progressing
and what you have learned, were are you from?
some sites do not allow email address to be
included but if you go to the contact page on "The
Ferguson Club" web page you can pick mine up there
as I am the Wiltshire rep for the club.
I can then email pictures and scanned copies of
these books if that helps you
regards
