I am adjusting the pressures on my second gen SOS in my 971. 2nd gen SOS. When taking my readings with the trans up to operating temp they were all a little under the spec range. I am now adjusting the regulating valves, but it is now cold. There was no problem bringing the pressure for the main one, which comes first, up to five lbs. above the upper end of the range, which was approx. a ten lb. increase. There is nothing in the manual about allowance for cold vs. hot. I am thinking that it should be at least 5 lbs. higher with the oil cold. I will of course check the pressures once I get it back together and can drive it or run it on the Dyno to heat it up. Thoughts?
