Super 55 Hydraulic Filter

I have seen other threads with info on the hydraulic filter for Super 55 hydraulic filters, but have read mixed things as to whether it is the same filter for the different models of Super 55. Mine has the filter on the left side of the seat as opposed to between the operators legs- is it the same filter either way? On another note, I’ve seen many references to buying parts through Agco, but haven’t been able to find anyone associated with Agco in my area. Does anyone have a recommendation for how to find these parts online?

No the 1957 and later tractors take a different filter same as the 550.

Good to know, thanks! Any idea of where to get the right filter for earlier models? I can try calling Korves- I just ordered some other parts from them yesterday funnily enough.

Following up on this for future visitors, Korves did have the filter. They sent a Wix 33110, which is labeled as a fuel filter but it looked just like the one that I pulled out of the tractor.

Just a reminder that this filter is for the older design of Super 55 with the filter on the left side of the chassis under the seat- the later models with the filter housing between the operators legs is a different filter.
