super all traction

Like to hear how the firestone all traction are working compared to the field and roads ? Any input.

Pipe, the SAT tires work very well. They hold up better as well. They work in most all conditions as well. They are about as close to an all purpose tire as there is. I have them on my pulling tractor and would never go back. I have used them on tracks from pure sand to biting clay and they work everywhere they are tried. And when they start to slip at the end of a pull they will still try to hang on, unlike some other tires that simply "let go" all at once. Mike

Mike, how tall are your lugs? I have also heard guys that hate them, till they cut them down really far..then like them. What do you think?

I am running about 5/8" or so. Like any other tire if you leave more lug on them they will pile dirt bad. Mine seem to hook very well. Mike

stock tread height is 49/32 so 5/8 is 20/32 so that is a lot of road wear......... we are gonna run a set of the SAT's in 16.9 do you guys have any experience with this size?

I remember seeing them out at Sigourney, but I didnt pay much attention at the time. I have 16.9's, but unfortunately they are 8ply, so I dont know if I am gonna hang on to them or not. ..AC
