I am putting the rocker arm assembly back on my head. The center stud has a hole up through the center and then out the side of it which Im guessing is for oil to get up to the rocker arms. Does this hole out of the side of the stud have to be pointing a certain way. I snug that stud into head then put rocker arm assebly on and there is barely enough threads showing to get a nut started.

Doesent need to be pointed any certain way you mite have threaded it in too far if not enough threads are left for the nut at least you know its for oil as some will replace with a capscrew then wonder why oil isnt getting to rockshaft.

Go easy on it when you tighten the nut. The hollow stud is much easier to twist off than the same size standard bolt.
