Went out this morning to get some more mowing done and noticed the not-bush-hog was flopping around a bit. Stopped right away and did an inspection and found that one side of the yoke of an upper lift arm was snapped clean off. Looking at the break it is pretty evident that the damage was done a while back as the top portion of the crack, roughly 2/3 of it, is dark and rusty. There's enough paint layered on the tractor that I didn't see the crack for what it was.
More annoying is that the casting shows some malformations; a "worm hole" that goes in to the arm a ways. Should I break out the welder and repair or replace the whole arm? Repair so I can use it today and order the part?
