Tractor Forum????

I thought this was a tractor forum, a place to get away from all the BS that goes on in this country good or bad, maybe I was mistaken

This is a tractor forum, and a darn good one! You can skip the things you don't want to read and yes, people here (like everywhere) do get O.T.(off-topic) sometimes.
If you like N's, this is the place to be. If you need to "get away from it all", you should take a trip, take a pill, maybe watch some "law and Order" ...
Lighten up, we like you here...

If you are a Ford tractor owner there is another site mostly old Ford tractors . Send me your email address & I will forward it to you . The YT site is a great site & this other one is a great site also .God bless, Ken

Elvin........so sorry something assaulted yer BS sensitivities. What is yer QUESTION??? about N-Tractors??? ........respectfully, Dell, the un-sensitive

He's more uptight than me!!! Hey, Dell. Got got my tender little sensibilities all bandaged up now. (Heh, Heh!) Elvin, this is not a place to "get away from it all", It's a place to get greasy, frustrated and your knuckles barked. All in the company of some of the greatest guys in the world. Happy Trails, God Bless. John

this is a tractor forum, and a good one, however years ago it was discovered that most all N tractor owners have one thing in common, most do something besides farm for a living, so being that most of us consider all here to be at least online friends if not real world friends too, we take advantage of that feature to solve problems on stuff other than tractors too, most posts are titles OT, if you dont like OT posts i do hope you have sence enough not to read them

Yea, but ya gotta admit since we solved World Peace it's gotten a little boring around here.....

I'm sorry, it seemed like everyone else was simply expressing an opinion, kinda like I did, I don't really appreciate being ganged up on and one in particular that said I should be ignored, I was half way trying to make a joke when I said it to begin with, I don't think that I deserved all that I don't believe I'm the one that needs to loosen up, oh well think what you want

We all like to rant/vent sometimes, at least here we're pretty much all in the same boat(tractor)....amongst those that listen and try to help. Stick with it, these are a knowledgeable gang (of thugs...grin)

+1 on the ?????
I just did a general search with your name, Elvin, and didn't see anything.
What got your shorts in a bunch?
I'm pretty new here, and these guys seem like pretty decent folks. Precisely what were you referring to? Inquiring minds want to know.

Elvin,

When you post something like this that is not related to repairing or using a N tractor, please mark it as OT (of topic) so it does not disturb me, Thanks

I tell ya.....your all a hoot to listen to. I feel like I am in my chicken coop with all the cacklin' goin' on!! LOL (laughing out loud). Keep it up...I am loving the entertainment...much better than Law & Order..thats for sure!

Here is the problem.

Most places in this world, that one could go and get 100 folks together, and add up their brain power, one could come up consistently with at least 1/2 a brain between them all.

On this board, most everyone that posts at least once a week (or more), has at least one full one on their own.

That isn't saying that ones that post less, have less, or that ones that post more have more.

One thing I have learned, birds of a feather, flock together.

There is some of the most intelligent folks that I have ever encountered on this board.

We may just get bored sometimes, and need a laugh.

I have some of the best laughs of my life right here on this board.

Sometimes making an Arse outa myself.

Laughter IS the best medicine.

Most all of the folks here, I consider some of my best friends.

Now here comes this feller, that this is his first post, and he condems us, as to how we act here???

And doesn't expect to be straightened out?

Oh, well...

Hey Dunk,

The old hippie....hey he has a real good head of hair, makes me pretty dam- envious! But he sure has the potulant belly, which I don't get envious over....as by this time I seem to have all I want in that part of the anatomy.

You all have a good day tomorrow!

Well, Elvin:

A lotta of us are waiting to be of SERVICE.

Waiting periods generally allow us the opportunity to experiment with better ways to accomplish the never-ending maintenance procedures that go along with TRACTOR OWNERSHIP.

So, most engineers, complex think'N individuals, just get "excited" when some of our ideas are put to use by the new-subscribers to the "forum".

Personalities are a basic component to qualify to be listened to.

PS: Actually, we all try to be "salesmen" for the HOSTS of this SITE.

8 tracks, eh? Actually still had mine until about three years ago. Sold a case of them (and an under-dash player) when the ol' girl made me haul some of my "stuff" to a flea market at the York Fairgrounds one summer.

First car I had with a factory 8 track player, was a '68 Dodge Charger. All of my trucks had under-dash units in 'em back then.

Shoulda converted my Jube to 12V and mounted the player on the fender. Hated to part with my Merle Haggard 8 track tapes. ;O)

All this technology keeps ya on yer toes. Have a mess of cassette tapes now, last two trucks only came with CD players.
