I recently purchased an unstyled B with steel fronts and skeleton rears in Nebraska. I have transported my rubber tire tractors on my gooseneck with angle iron ramps and a 2 foot diamond treadplate beaver tail. The rest of the trailer is wood. I loaded the "new" purchase with a winch but it was a scary ordeal with the ramps. Unloading was just as scary. Is there anything I can use to cover the ramps/ treadplate beavertail? The lugs tore the crap out of the wood and that was expected. I need someone who loads and transports steel wheeled tractors to shows to help with a comment or two on what works best for them.
